This month I introduce you to Michelle Sheppard, a gorgeous Trans Woman, who I met through social media.  We connected over our love of bras (surprise) and I am happy that I was able to help Michelle.  Although Michelle has not experienced breast cancer personally, I believe her story is important; her advocacy work within her community and teaching her young daughters about body confidence.  Michelle was recently invited by Cancer Council Victoria to participate in their “The Beautiful Women Campaign”.  This campaign is designed to celebrate the beauty and diversity of women and encourage all women in all communities,...

50 Shades of Pink.  Women of Breast Influence - Jennifer Pellechio-Lukowiak

Our first "Women of Breast Influence" is Jennifer Pellechio-Lukowiak.  I had the pleasure of meeting Jenn last year in New York City and loved her instantly.  Jenn is the author of ‘Does This Outfit Make Me Look Bald?’ and writes regular blogs on her website and social media.  You will love Jenn who was the original Tamoxibabe and is now a rocking Arimidiva. Posted by Tina Doueihi on

Pinktober is well and truly over.  The pink ribbons are packed away, news stories have slowed down and the pink events are over until next year. So what have we learnt from Pinktober? I would say that there were many lessons and yet there is still more to learn. Thankfully, people are starting to understand that breast cancer is beyond pink.  It is real and nasty.  It cannot be tied up in a pretty pink ribbon.  It is more than a pink a ribbon.  Breast cancer affects real people, their families and their lives.  The McGrath Foundation recently published survey...
